Implementation Specialist
Know newspaper production, master InDesign and love smart design? Then this job is for you!
Roxen develops innovative software that automates print and publishing workflows - enabling newsrooms around the world to produce newspapers, special sections, magazines and e-papers more efficiently. Our customers range from local newspaper groups to major media houses in Scandinavia, Europe, and North and South America. We are now looking for a graphic designer with editorial experience who wants to bring their expertise to our upcoming customer projects.
About the role
As an Implementation Specialist at Roxen, you play a key role in our deliveries to newsrooms worldwide. Your work will directly influence how journalism is produced and delivered to readers every day. Your mission is to design and implement more efficient, automated and flexible ways of working for the production of print products and e-papers, based on each customer’s needs and conditions. Working closely with our project managers and product specialists, you lead the development of editorial workflows and templates. In practice, you will:
analyse customer needs and identify opportunities for smarter, more automated workflows
create page templates for customer publications in InDesign
anchor workflows and template solutions with editors, designers and other stakeholders
test and quality-assure solutions in the customer’s production environment
support customers through training, workflow and template adjustments, and go-live support
create training materials and run customer training sessions
Like everyone at Roxen, you also contribute to our product development by sharing customer insights from your projects.
Who we are looking for
You move comfortably between editorial work, technology and design – and you make things happen. You understand the everyday reality of newspaper production and enjoy finding smarter ways to work without compromising visual quality. We expect you to bring:
post-secondary education in graphic production, media technology or IT
strong design skills for both print and digital channels
deep knowledge of Adobe InDesign, including extensive template development experience
knowledge about editorial systems and production workflows
excellent skills in English and Swedish (or another Scandinavian language)
As a person, you are:
self-driven, analytical and structured
genuinely interested in design and new technology
customer-focused and able to translate needs into smart, user-friendly and visually appealing solutions
a clear communicator and confident trainer
We prefer that you are based in Linköping or Stockholm, but we are also open to remote work if that suits you better.
Why Roxen?
We are a small global company where your contribution makes a real difference. We value curiosity, collaboration and a pragmatic mindset – and we trust people to take ownership. You’ll work with international customers and complex, engaging projects that require both focus and creativity. With us, you’ll have room to develop, and you’ll join an experienced, close-knit team that enjoys creating smart solutions together.
